Vulkan Rendering Plugin for VRUT Software

The master’s thesis submitted deals with realtime rendering of three-dimensional CAD data using Vulkan API. The thesis also covers possibilities of connecting the API with VRUT, complex solution for renderig developed by ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Design of such connection is presented in form of Vulkan rendering plugin for VRUT application. Performance of the designed module is compared with another rendering module, based on different rendering technologies.
Footbridge

Master´s thesis deals with design and complex static assessment of timber roofed footbridge structural system. The calculation part is divided into three main chapters, that are dedicated to determine load impacts on structure, to particular structural and roof members assessment and also to design details of connections. The lower part of structure is formed by flat arched main beams of glued laminated timber, floor beams, stringers and under-deck bracing. The upper part of footbridge is formed by structure of gabled roof and additional bracings. Transversal frames of footbridge copy the shape of arch and they are arranged orthogonally to its axis. They form a radial fan with commom centre in the longitudinal direction. The static scheme of structure is thought as a statically undefinite system thanks to the bedrock surrounding the footbridge.
Timber foot bridge over a wolf run

The subject of this diploma thesis is the construction of a timber foot bridge over the wolf run in the Šumava National Park. The total length of the bridge is 240 m with two ground plan bends. The foot bridge includes three viewing decks, two of which are covered with shed roofs. The foot bridge is divided into 16 segments. Each segment is 15 m long with a width of 2.2 meters. The ground plan dimensions of the viewing decks are approximately 15x7 and 15x11 m. As the main structural material has been chosen glued laminated timber of the strength class GL28h, other elements are made of solid timber of the strength class C24. The thesis includes an introductory document, options analysis, technical report, static analysis, bill of material and drawings.
Roofing of the summer house

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is to design and assessment of the load-boarding roof structure of a holiday house in the village of Nové Hrady, district of České Budějovice. It is about saddle roof with a slope of 20° above one-story building rectangular floor plan about dimensions of 7,5 m x 20,6 m. The structural system of the roof is made of a pair of wooden rafters made of grown wood, conected by a steel rod to a steel vertical. The peripheral load-bearing part under the roof structure are sand-lime walls and frontal wooden columns in the glass wall. The structural model was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 6.02. The software was used to determine the internal forces and judgments on the individual elements. The decisive judgments were verifies by manual calculation. Selected bolt or screw connections and the connection of the slab to the rafters were also resolved.

Thesis deals with the assessment of the impact of using the classic universal screw and screw the new generation with a sliding coating on various aspects of the production process. It was judged mainly possibility to join two operations into one: pre-drilling and screwing. This opportunity of screws the new generation would mean omission of pre-drilling at joints in hard hardwood, which would result in savings in labor time and costs for making joints. This option would therefore have a major impact on the economic factor in the production of furniture. Furthermore, it was determined the strength of cordless drill screwdriver needed to tighten screws into hardwoods - beech, and watched the wear on drill bits of cordless screwdriver associated with increased effort on tools of missed pre-drilling operation. This issue relates, for example, the manufacture of chairs, supporting frames of upholstered furniture as well as garden furniture or wooden constructions. During the tests it was used solid beech wood, as a classic representative of the hardwood deciduous wood, widely available and often used in the manufacture of furniture. The focus of this work was to observe the characteristics of the three selected types of wood screws in two dimensions. The results of observations and measurements were noted, photographically documented, analyzed and evaluated.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of various woods and their influence on the load capacity of security fitting for entrance door. This thesis consists of a test of the maximal force required to pull out the screw. Based on this, a withdrawal capacity needed to pull the screws was established. Considering a recommendation of a manufacturer, special "window" screws which due to their reduced head fit well into the holes in the security fitting were used for experiment. The test was performed on the following woods: spruce, pine, larch and oak.

The thesis deals with the problems of balcony buildings. It also briefly describes terraces and porch. The thesis also deals with the chemical protection of these buildings. Furthermore, design protection, building safety, fire protection and ecological processing are addressed. Below is a description of how to install and describe the parts of the balcony and two other designs of another balcony. The work is also a comparison of these three projects and the reason why this balcony was chosen. The work contain bill of materials and a financial statement are set up detailing each material used in the construction.
